Help Find Gina.com

Gina Lin Anderson was found on Oct. 14th, 2009.  Gina's car was discovered submerged in the Red Lake River in the city limits of Thief River Falls, MN.  Pennington County Sheriff's Dept. and local Law Enforcement discovered Gina's car after the draw down of the river which began on Oct. 12th.  The water level was low enough to began searching on Wednesday Oct. 14th and the car was discovered by searchers in boats at approximently 12:44 pm. Gina's car was taken out of the river and searched and Gina's body was found in the car.

Thanks to everyone for their ongoing love, support and concern in Gina's disappearance.  We prayed for closure and our prayers were answered, obviously not the outcome we had hoped for but are so grateful that we found her.  We are thankful to have found Gina and to have the closure we have longed for.  May Gina rest in peace now with her sister Jill in Heaven. 

Again thanks so much to everyone that has followed Gina's story.  We would not be able to get through this without every single person that has kept us in their thoughts and prayers.  We wish we could thank every person individually, friends, family, the community of TRF and every single stranger that has helped us through this.  God bless you all and again thank you so much.

Lappegaard and Anderson Families

33 year old Gina Lin Anderson has been missing since 10/23/08 from Thief Falls River, MN. Gina Lin Anderson was last seen leaving her home Thursday at about 2:30 in the afternoon in her car and never returned.  Gina left her purse, credit cards,  and other items home. She also left her identification and medication, items that one might have been expected to take-including important anti-seizure medication that the family fears if not taken could cause her to become disorientated.  A credible witness said he spoke with Mrs. Anderson at approximately 2:30pm on 10/23/2008 outside of her residence and said she drove away alone in her car, did not seem under duress and appeared to be in good spirits. This was the last known contact with Mrs. Anderson.

Gina Lin Anderson Description:

• About 5 feet 4 inches tall
• Approximately 165 pounds
• Blonde hair
• Blue eyes
• She was believed to be wearing a black, pink and white castle racing jacket.                                    
   

She was driving her yellow 2002 Pontiac Sunfire with Minnesota license plate number 224AEA (pictured at right).  The car is also still missing.

Gina's family and the Carole Sund/Carrington Foundation is offering a $10,000 reward for Gina's return or information leading to Gina's return.

If anyone has any information regarding the whereabouts of Gina Lin Anderson or any possible sightings of Gina or her car, please call the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office at 218-681-6161 or 911 immediately. Please do not hesitate to call, any tip or possible sighting is crucial to finding clues or leads to Gina.  All tips and leads are completely confidential so please call with any information.
